KYDEX® 101

KYDEX® 101 is a proprietary alloy sheet capped with a weatherable cap for applications such as electrical signs requiring Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc® compliance.
KYDEX®101 meets the ULStd 746C, 94 V-0, 5V. Since the substrate is white, it eliminates the need for painting the inside of sign cars. Offers outstanding thermoformability, impact resistance, weatherability & machinability.

KYDEX® 1900 is a proprietary thermoplastic sheet with improved heat distortion temperature for higher in-service temperatures.
KYDEX® 1900 meets Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 25.853 (a) for vertical burn. Maximum recommended service temperature is approximately 76 - 81°C (169 - 178°F) depending on the thermoforming technique and application.

KYDEX® 200 is a proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with other thermoplastics while providing excellent extensibility, good impact resistance and excellent solvent resistance.
Based on independent laboratory testing it meets the requirements of Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc® Std 94 V-0 in all thicknesses. It has 534 J/m (10 ft-lbs/in) of Notched Izod impact resistance.

KYDEX® 6185 is a proprietary thermoplastic sheet with improved heat distortion temperature (HDT) for higher in-service temperatures while providing excellent extensibility, good impact resistance and excellent solvent resistance.
KYDEX® 6185 meets FAR 25.853 (a) for use in aircraft interior parts. Maximum recommended service temperature is approximately 85 - 90°C (185 - 190°F) depending on thermoforming technique and application

KYDEX® T

|
KYDEX® T is a proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with fire retardant ABS/PVC (FR-ABS) formulations but with significantly higher impact strength and extensibility.
KYDEX® T is less hygroscopic, it typically does not require pre-drying, offers superior impact, more uniform forming with less wall thinning and offers significantly greater resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions.

KYDEX® V
|
KYDEX® V sheet is a recycled grade of a proprietary thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with other grades of thermoplastic sheet while offering improved performance.
KYDEX® V is particularly well suited for hidden or painted parts since it has some degress of color variability. It is only available in Black (52114), in thicknesses from 1.00mm (0.040”) and up, and in a limited number of textures.
