Forced Entry and Natural Disaster - Lexgard laminates are designed to help withstand impact from attempted entry by an individual (vandal/burglar) or an object (hurricane/tornado damage). Industry accepted standards: WMFL, HP White, OSHA, Metro-Dade County, Hurricane Code Test, Tornado FEMA 320/361.

Bomb Blast - According to an unclassified report by the U.S. Secretary of Defense, broken glass in the terrorist bombing of Khobar Towers, a housing facility at the US Air Force base in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, resulted in over 330 injuries and 19 fatalities. The report estimates 80-90 percent of those injuries were caused by broken glass. Lexgard laminates may provide protection against many of the overpressures and fragments associated with explosions. These products have been tested to absorb from 20 psi to as much as 57 psi, the equivalent of 4300 pounds of TNT detonated from 115 feet away.
