regalGARD Bullet Resistant Materials

Appropriately matched to specific levels of threat, regalGARD laminates and component systems provide transparent ballistic protection.

While no material or system can indefinitely withstand repeated assault by guns, sledgehammers, blow torches or other weapons, the exceptional performance of regalGARD laminates gives you the time you need to protect your people and take appropriate action.

  • High impact, stress-free lamination – will not spider, crack or white-out on impact, providing vision after ballistic or physical attack. Eliminates costly replacement of broken glass.

ACRYLITE® BR
ACRYLITE® BR acrylic sheet is a UL 752 Level 1 bullet resistant product approved for indoor and outdoor applications. At 1.250” thick, every sheet is inspected on line to insure that the material meets CYRO's exacting visual specifications. Thickness tolerances are checked on a sheet-by-sheet basis to insure that the material will provide the required protection. The material is protected with a brown adhesive-backed masking to prevent surface scratches during shipping and manufacturing. Identifying tapes are placed at one-foot intervals, indicating the material to be a UL listed bullet resistant product.
Bullet Resistant Building Components
Fiberglass composite bulletproof panels and bullet resistant fiberglass can be used in security walls, safe havens, safe rooms, panic rooms, bullet resistant doors and as a blast protection barrier. Bullet resistant fiberglass can be installed as wallboard and covered with drywall to provide unnoticeable intruder protection.

In the last 10 years this product has been applied in a vast variety of projects. Applications have included courtrooms, police stations, banks, check cashing facilities, federal buildings, shoot houses, residential safe rooms, hospitals, airports, and military vehicles and buildings.

Fiberglass composite panels are UL Listed at all 8 Levels of the UL752 Standard for Ballistic Resistive Equipment.

Display Cases An electronics retail store was having problems with expensive video cameras being stolen off the shelves. They first installed some plain black doors with locks to cover the shelves. This solved the problem of theft but they could not see when their inventory was getting low.

They came to Regal Plastics where we designed a Clear Lexan door that provided security as well as visual display. They could see their current stock, the cameras could not be stolen and the doors could not be broken. Because they used 1/8" thick Lexan, the doors could be "cold formed" in the sliding door's track matching the curved outline of the shelves but avoiding expensive molding of the doors. As they say in retail - Cha-ching!
