ACRYLIC GLUE

Weld-On 3

Weld-On 3 is a water thin, very Fast-Setting, solvent cement for bonding acrylic. It is a non-flammable, clear adhesive agent formulated to rapidly achieve high-strength bonds. The initial bond takes only minutes to form and increases in strength over the next few hours. High humidity can affect the time the bond takes to set. In addition to adhering acrylic to acrylic, Weld-On 3 can be used to form bonds with other thermoplastics such as Polycarbonate, PETG, and Polystyrene.

Weld-On 4

Weld-On 4 is a water thin, Moderately Fast Setting, solvent cement used to bond acrylic. It is somewhat flammable, clear adhesive agent formulated to rapidly create high-strength bonds. Initial bonding occurs within just a matter of minutes and increases significantly over the course of the next few hours. It is a preferred choice among many fabricators as it is unlikely to show blushing (white marks that occur during setting). Weld-On 4 can be used to form bonds with other thermoplastics such as Polycarbonate, PETG, and Polystyrene.

Weld-On 16 is a medium viscosity, medium bodied, high-strength, solvent cement for bonding acrylic.  It is somewhat flammable, clear adhesive agent formulated to rapidly create high-strength bonds. Formulated for fast bonding the initial bonding occurs within just a matter of minutes and increases significantly over the course of the next few hours. Weld-On 16 can be used to form bonds with other thermoplastics such as Polycarbonate, PETG, and Polystyrene.

Weld-On 42

Weld-On 42 is a very high-strength, two-component, reactive acrylic bonding adhesive. It is specifically formulated to bond acrylic and provide water clear joints of a “museum grade” quality. Formulated for fast bonding the initial bonding occurs within just a matter of minutes and increases significantly over the course of the next few hours. Weld-On 42 is recommended where superior clarity is required. For use with a dispensing gun and applicator tips.

GENERAL ADHESIVES

E6000

E6000 is a medium-bodied, high-performance general adhesive that can be used for a very wide range of applications. Easily the most versatile of the industrial strength glues, it is both clear and non-flammable, and waterproof. Flexible and paintable, E6000 lends itself to being useful throughout countless industries.

We rely heavily in E6000 in our own fabrication projects which require our plastics to be glued to non-plastic materials. It is ideal for bonding fabric, plastic, metal, glass, wood, and a myriad of other substrates.

 

E6100

E6000 is high viscosity, non-sag, high-performance general adhesive that can be used for a very wide range of applications. Like E6000, it is both clear and non-flammable, and waterproof. The increased viscosity of this formula allows maximum control during application Flexible and paintable, E6100 lends itself to being useful throughout countless industries. E6100 is ideal for bonding fabric, plastic, metal, glass, wood, and a myriad of other substrates.

Like E6000, we turn to E6100 to achieve bonds between plastic and non-plastic materials in our fabrication. It’s increased viscosity allows for more control during application, especially over larger surface areas.
